Urban Jungle Self Defense offers adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes that are designed to teach students the fundamentals of this highly effective martial art. Classes are taught by experienced instructors who provide a safe and supportive training environment for students of all skill levels.

In these classes, students will learn various techniques for grappling, submissions, and ground fighting. They will also learn how to defend against various types of attacks and how to use leverage and technique to overcome opponents who may be larger and stronger.

The classes are structured to accommodate beginners and advanced students alike, with each class starting with a warm-up and stretching exercises, followed by technique drills and live sparring. Students will receive personalized instruction and feedback from the instructors to help them improve their skills and reach their goals.

 

Class Requirements

No experience is necessary. Everyday gear includes: Urban Jungle t-shirt, full gi (uniform). Long hair must be restrained. No jewelry or hair clips. All nails must be clipped and kempt, hands and feet. Classes are done with bare feet.

We offer a free introductory class and provide a uniform. You must arrive 15 minutes before class to participate in your first session. Prices may be obtained on your first visit as we have several options to choose from. Walk-ins are always encouraged and warmly welcomed.
